We are leading Nigerian manufacturers and suppliers of a range of Ice Block Making Machine, Coldroom, Blast Freezers, Cold storage barns, Ovens, Refrigerators and Air Conditioners, among other domestic and industrial heat transfer equipment. Our services include all aspects of design, installation, maintenance and repairs of domestic, commercial and industrial systems.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Logistics Officer

Location: Lagos

Role Description

  • The Logistics Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos, responsible for overseeing an efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement, storage, and distribution of goods while maintaining compliance with organizational standards and global supply chain best practices.
  • The logistic officer will also collaborates with procurement, warehouse staff, suppliers, freight forwarders, finance, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless logistics operations

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Transportation & Distribution Management Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate Driver movement, ensuring proper fueling of all vehicles at all time and handling of loading and plan all trip.
  • Documentation & Compliance Prepare and verify gate pass, and regulatory compliance records.
  • ERP Utilization Use digital platforms (ERP) to track update on inventory on material movement, and generate logistics reports.
  • Cost Optimization Negotiate with carriers where necessary, mechanics, drivers, road regulatory officer, monitor and implement strategies to reduce logistics expenses.
  • Vehicle Coordination Liaise with drivers to vehicles are road worthy, identify delays, damage of any kind and fix promptly
  • Sustainability & Continuous Improvement Support eco-friendly logistics practices and contribute to process optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or Banking and Finance..
  • Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics will be an added advantage
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement roles.
  • Grounded with ISO Background
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and digital tracking tools
  • Analytical skills for cost control and demand forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
  • Knowledge of compliance, customs, and safety regulation.
