We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Officer

Location: Jakande/Chevron, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support:

• Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Respond to and resolve IT service requests and incidents in a timely manner.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, servers, and network devices.

Network Management:

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Ensure network security and performance through regular monitoring and updates.

System Administration:

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.
• Ensure regular data backups and perform disaster recovery operations when necessary.

Software Management:

• Install, configure, and update software applications.
• Maintain software licensing and compliance.
• Assist in the evaluation and deployment of new software solutions.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
• Prepare and present regular reports on IT performance and incidents.
• Document and report on IT issues and resolutions.

Requirements and Qualification

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in releveant field.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant technical experience.
• Must know how to install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot equipment, systems and programs used by the School
• Ability to respond rapidly to operating and security problems.
• Must be able to prioritize activities and delegate tasks.
• Must be able to read, interpret and apply complex technical information.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with and instruct/tutor students and staff, plan and conduct group demonstrations, workshops, and training.
