We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chemistry Teacher

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry using practical and student-centred teaching methods.
• Conduct laboratory practicals while ensuring laboratory safety.
• Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, IGCSE, or Cambridge examinations.
• Assess students' progress and provide academic support.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemistry Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of Chemistry and laboratory procedures.
• Excellent lesson planning and classroom management.
• Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts.
• Education / Experience
• Cambridge certification is an added advantage.

Other Requirements:

• TRCN registration is an added advantage.
• Cambridge certification is an added advantage for applicants seeking to teach the Cambridge curriculum.
• Strong moral character, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to students' academic and personal development.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative school environment.

Remuneration

• Competitive Salary: N90,000 - N150,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
