Colossu Investments Limited, an agro commodities export company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Ilesa, Osun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• To manage all production activities from raw cashew nut intake through kernel packaging, ensuring production targets, quality standards, operational efficiency, and cost objectives are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute monthly and daily production plans.
• Supervise all production sections, including steaming, shelling, drying, peeling, grading, and packaging.
• Monitor production output and factory efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and quality requirements.
• Optimise kernel recovery and whole kernel percentage.
• Monitor labour productivity and machine utilisation.
• Coordinate manpower deployment across production lines.
• Minimise production losses and wastage.
• Work closely with QA and Maintenance departments.
• Prepare production reports and performance analyses.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
• Develop production supervisors and operators.

• Daily production target achievement
• Whole kernel percentage

• Downtime attributable to production
• Production cost per MT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Agriculture, or related discipline.
• Compulsory: Must Worked In Cashew Processing Factory as Production Manager.

Experience:

• 5 - 8 years in manufacturing.
• At least 3 years managing production in food processing or agro-processing (knowledge in cashew processing would be a great advantage).
