We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Coil Tubing Operator

Locations: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

  • Drive our well intervention operations across ongoing projects — ensuring operational excellence by enforcing the Company’s Safety and Coiled Tubing Operating Procedures, maintaining equipment, and verifying compliance with international engineering codes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment in accordance with the Company’s Safety and Coiled Tubing Operating Procedures.
  • Carry out general maintenance and pre-job checks of equipment to ensure equipment status and availability.
  • Rig up/down and operate equipment in compliance with HSE procedures, client permit to work and CT Operating Procedures.
  • Check system line up and complete check sheets prior to pressure testing; record all data required for job reporting.
  • Understand the client permit to work, raise the appropriate permit and act as supervisor for the work undertaken.
  • Ensure adequate shift handovers are performed and documented, and that all personnel on shift are briefed.
  • Participate in toolbox talks and carry out risk assessments for any given task.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering or Physical Sciences.
  • Must be IWCF certified (Level 4).
  • Must have 4–6 years of progressive CT experience within the oil & gas services sector.
  • Knowledgeable in coiled tubing hydraulics, downhole hydraulics and equipment maintenance, including acidizing, milling and fishing operations.
  • Able to rig up/down CT equipment, prepare and assemble equipment for installation, and operate CT auxiliary equipment.
  • Able to perform hydrostatic pressure tests during pre/post job procedures, including preventive maintenance.
  • Strong analytical, communication and reporting skills; able to perform and conduct JSA and safety meetings.
