Job Title: Infrastructure & Applications Support Officer

Job Overview

  • The Infrastructure & Applications Support Officer is responsible for administering and supporting the Company's IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environment, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity solutions.
  • The role provides technical support, ensures system availability and security, and supports technology projects that improve business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, routers, switches, and wireless networks.
  • Manage the Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, and security).
  • Support enterprise applications, including the Company's insurance core application and Zoho solutions.
  • Administer Sophos Firewall, endpoint security, and cybersecurity controls.
  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to users.
  • Coordinate with vendors, maintain IT documentation, and support technology and digital transformation projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' relevant IT experience, preferably in banking, insurance, fintech, or another regulated industry.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Sophos Firewall administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs), and enterprise application support.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365, CCNA, CompTIA, Sophos, ITIL, or Azure
  • Fundamentals will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, communication, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver excellent user support.
