Job Title: Blow Moulding Machine Technician

Location: Onitsha, Anambra

Job Summary

• The Blow Moulding Machine Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimal performance of blow moulding machines and related production equipment.
• The ideal candidate must possess strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in maintaining industrial blow moulding machines while ensuring maximum machine uptime and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on blow moulding machines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• Perform machine setup, changeovers, and routine servicing.
• Ensure machines operate efficiently with minimal downtime.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance productivity.
• Replace worn or damaged machine components promptly.
• Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and spare parts usage.
• Collaborate with production personnel to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
• Observe all safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new blow moulding equipment.

Requirements

• HND, BSC, Trade Test Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• NYSC or discharge certificate
• Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience maintaining blow moulding machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of blow moulding machine operations and maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to interpret machine manuals and technical drawings.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
