We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Canteen Steward

Location: Warri, Delta

Job Summary

• We are seeking friendly, reliable, and hardworking Canteen Stewards to join our team.
• The successful candidates will support the smooth running of the canteen by assisting with food service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, serving, and distribution of food and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen surfaces, and service counters.
• Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and catering equipment.
• Ensure tables are cleared and reset promptly for incoming customers.
• Follow food hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
• Support stock control by reporting low supplies or shortages.
• Provide courteous and helpful service to all canteen users.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE, GCE, or NECO, with 2-3 years of work experience.
• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or a canteen environment is essential.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and well-organised.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
