We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Integrity Supervisor

Location: Offshore Nigeria

Job Role Responsibilities
What will you do?

  • Understand the integrity condition of all production kit from subsea to surface (using appropriate risk assessments) and identify target integrity conditions
  • Identify potential risks, steward activities required to meet target integrity conditions and develop strategies to prevent failures
  • Apply understanding of asset operations, and teamwork, communication and presentation skills to develop and deliver cost effective on-site support. 
  • Conduct pro-active corrosion engineering surveillance activities. Routine surveillance of field integrity performance 
  • Develop prioritized seriatim listing of integrity issues for both shutdown and non-shutdown related deficiencies for effective work planning
  • Ensures timely recognition, screening and communication of SHE risk and Reliability threats associated with equipment integrity i.e. piping vessels, pipeline, risers. Able to participate in risk assessments as required.
  • Able to execute implementation of integrated risk based and cost effective integrity management or repair solutions

About you | Skills & Qualifications

  • Higher National Certificate (HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Corrosion Engineering, Offshore/Marine Engineering, Structural Engineering, Metallurgy, Petroleum Engineering (with integrity background). A BSc in engineering or related sciences without a HND diploma is acceptable IF there is already established and verifiable working experience as an integrity execution personnel in in the oil and gas industry for at least 5 years. Note however that this is strictly a technician role.
  • Minimum 10 years relevant integrity execution work experience AND 5 years minimum in a supervisory or lead position
  • The candidate should demonstrate practical knowledge of: Inspection & NDT, Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiography (RT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI), Eddy Current Testing, Corrosion Management, Corrosion monitoring, Cathodic protection, Corrosion under insulation (CUI), Corrosion under piping support (CUPS), Internal corrosion assessment, Chemical treatment programs, Knowledge of API 510, 570, and RBI methodologies.

Experience:

  • Previous offshore or FPSO experience preferred
  • Good understanding and Interpretation of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
  • Good attention to Detail. Ability to observe and detect abnormalities and understanding what next to do; maintain accurate logs and reports; ability to identify and mitigate workplace hazards. Should understand what constitutes a hazard and control/mitigation
