Job Title: Pool Car Driver

Job Responsibilities
Transportation & Daily Operations:
- Safely transport staff, engineers, site supervisors, management, and authorized visitors between office headquarters, active construction sites, vendor locations, and external meetings.
- Transport small construction tools, safety equipment, documents, and light materials between sites and headquarters as directed.
- Adhere strictly to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times to ensure project timelines and meetings are met without delay.
- Navigate optimal routes taking into account traffic conditions, weather, and road accessibility to construction zones.
Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection:
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (checking oil levels, coolant, tire pressure, brakes, headlights, and spare tires).
- Maintain clean and orderly pool vehicles, ensuring both exterior washing and interior vacuuming/sanitizing are completed regularly.
- Promptly report mechanical faults, body damage, unusual noises, or servicing needs to the Logistics/Fleet Manager.
- Schedule and oversee routine servicing, repairs, tire replacements, and oil changes with approved mechanics or service centers.
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management:
- Operate all company vehicles in strict compliance with national, state, and local road traffic laws and speed limits.
- Ensure all passengers wear seatbelts at all times and adhere to site-specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) rules when driving through construction zones.
- Maintain a clean driving record and ensure vehicle registration, roadworthiness certificates, and insurance documents are valid and stored in the vehicle.
- Handle minor roadside emergencies (e.g., changing flat tires) and immediately report any accidents, collisions, or traffic violations to management.
Record Keeping & Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate mileage logbooks for each trip, recording starting/ending odometer readings, purpose of travel, passenger names, and destination.
- Track and log fuel usage, submitting fuel receipts and expense reports to the finance or fleet department accurately and on time.
- Ensure pool car keys, fuel cards, and vehicle documents are safely handed over or locked away at the end of each shift.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
