We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head Teacher

Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • A reputable school located around the Ogba axis, Lagos, is seeking an experienced, visionary, and results-driven Head Teacher to provide academic leadership and oversee the day-to-day operations of the school.

Minimum Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or
  • Bachelor's Degree in any relevant discipline with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
  • A Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) may be considered in exceptional cases; however, a bachelor's degree is strongly preferred for this role.

Professional Registration:

  • Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and possession of a valid teaching licence (or eligibility to obtain one) is highly preferred and may be required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5–10 years' classroom teaching experience.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory, academic leadership, or school management role is highly desirable.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor teachers while driving continuous improvement in teaching quality.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Nigerian curriculum and, where applicable, the British curriculum.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage school operations and maintain high academic and behavioural standards.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
