Job Title: Well Completions Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Completions Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and supervising well completion, workover, and intervention operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare well completion programs and procedures.
• Develop detailed job execution plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
• Review well data and recommend appropriate completion equipment and techniques.
• Prepare technical calculations for tubing strings, packers, completion fluids, and downhole tools.
• Ensure completion designs meet client specifications and operational objectives.
• Supervise onshore and offshore completion, workover, and intervention operations.
• Coordinate mobilization, installation, testing, and retrieval of completion equipment.
• Monitor job execution to ensure compliance with approved procedures.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper installation and functionality of packers, safety valves, tubing accessories, and other completion tools.
• Coordinate with drilling, wireline, slickline, coiled tubing, stimulation, and production teams during operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, client procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the technical focal point for clients during completion operations.
• Provide daily operational updates and technical recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in well completions, workover, or well intervention operations.
• Experience in land, swamp, or offshore operations is an advantage.
• Experience with completion equipment from major service companies is desirable.

Salary
N2,500,000 Monthly plus other benefits.
