We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Ogudu GRA, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational objectives.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations for cost optimization and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain effective internal controls and financial policies.
  • Conduct financial analysis and present reports to senior management to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Supervise and mentor members of the finance team.
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns, statutory remittances, and other regulatory obligations.
  • Evaluate financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Support business planning, investment decisions, and financial modeling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, Nigerian tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
