We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos

Role Description

  • Habrams Energy Services is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth, client acquisition, and revenue generation across Nigeria and the wider West African energy market.
  • This leadership role is responsible for identifying and converting EPC, Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and other technical service opportunities while building long-term client relationships and leading a high-performing Business Development function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert EPC, O&M, and technical service opportunities.
  • Lead bid strategy, proposal oversight, and contract negotiations.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and identify new business opportunities across West Africa.
  • Lead and develop the Business Development and Tender teams.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, QHSE, and other internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor opportunity pipelines and deliver against revenue and growth targets.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in business development, commercial, or strategic leadership roles within the energy industry.
  • Demonstrated success in securing EPC and O&M contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigeria's energy sector, regulatory landscape, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Excellent commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
