We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Surveyor

Location: Assa North, Nekede, Imo

Job Summary

  • We are looking for an experienced Project Surveyor to join our construction team at our Assa North project site in Imo State.
  • If you have a strong background in engineering and construction surveying and are passionate about precision and quality, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out accurate setting-out and level fixing in accordance with Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings.
  • Perform horizontal and vertical alignment checks on structural elements before casting approvals.
  • Conduct detail and as-built surveys.
  • Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks across the project site.
  • Perform volumetric surveys and calculations when required.
  • Inspect and verify survey instruments regularly, reporting any deviations to the Head Surveyor.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of chainmen.
  • Identify and report discrepancies between site conditions and AFC drawings.
  • Prepare and submit accurate survey reports and documentation.
  • Participate in Last Minute Risk Assessment (LMRA) activities and comply with the company's Goal Zero HSE Policy at all times.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or HND in Surveying and Geoinformatics.
  • A postgraduate qualification in a related discipline is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years' post-graduation field experience in construction or engineering surveying.
  • Proficiency in the use of modern surveying equipment and software.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a project site environment.
