Job Summary
- The Facility Coordinator ensures the smooth operation, safety, and compliance of company facilities, overseeing maintenance, environmental standards, and operational efficiency across petroleum, waste management, and marine service environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Facility Management: Oversee daily operations of company facilities, including petroleum depots, waste management plants, and marine service hubs.
- Maintenance Oversight: Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards, environmental regulations, and pollution control measures
- Waste Management: Coordinate handling, treatment, and disposal of petroleum, industrial, medical, and domestic waste.
- Environmental Consultancy: Support environmental audits, impact assessments, and sustainability initiatives.
- Logistics & Haulage: Manage facility-related logistics, including petroleum product supply chains and haulage operations.
- Marine Services: Supervise marine operations, ensuring compliance with maritime safety standards.
- Team Supervision: Lead facility staff, contractors, and technical teams to achieve operational goals.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports on facility performance, compliance, and incident management.
Performance Indicators
- Compliance with HSE and environmental standards
- Efficiency of facility operations and maintenance
- Reduction in downtime and operational risks
- Efficient waste management and pollution control
- Smooth coordination of logistics and marine services.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Facilities Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Oil & Gas facility supervision, waste management, or environmental consultancy
- Strong understanding of petroleum operations, pollution control, and marine services
- Ability to manage diverse teams and contractors
- Familiarity with Nigerian environmental laws, DPR guidelines, and international HSE standards
- Excellent reporting, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Remuneration
- Salary: N400,000 – N500, 000per month (Net Salary)
- (However, the salary can be negotiated upward depending on the candidate’s experience).
