Job Title: Finance Officer
Location: Ugbe Akoko, Ondo
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Days & Hours: Monday – Friday (7:30 a.m - 5:00 p.m) , Saturday (7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)
Break: One-hour break daily
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Finance Staff to join its finance team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial operations,excellent analytical skills, and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Process payments, receipts, invoices, and reconciliations accurately.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and financial planning.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Support payroll processing and other finance-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, statutory regulations, and internal controls.
- Assist with audits by preparing the required financial records and reports.
- Monitor inventory-related financial transactions where applicable.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient financial operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance (preferred) or a related discipline such as Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar finance role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 per month (slightly negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
