Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and profitability.
• This role is responsible for driving service quality, optimizing business performance, and leading cross-functional teams while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of all hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) that uphold luxury hospitality standards.
• Manage operational budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement revenue growth and cost optimization strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop hotel staff while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to improve service offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
• Oversee facility maintenance, vendor management, and operational logistics to ensure uninterrupted hotel operations.
• Prepare and present operational and financial performance reports to senior management.
• Drive initiatives that improve guest satisfaction, staff engagement, and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification in Hospitality Operations is an added advantage.
• 3 – 7 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Facility Management.
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting, revenue optimization, and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel/property management software.
• Good knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with the Lagos hospitality market is an added advantage.
