Job Title: Procurement Manager

Job Summary
- The Procurement Manager will oversee the company’s procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and corporate policies.
- This role is critical in supporting petroleum product marketing, waste management, marine services, and environmental consultancy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals in petroleum, waste management, and marine services.
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and sustainability.
- Contract Negotiation: Draft, review, and manage contracts for petroleum products, haulage services, and pollution control equipment.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to Nigerian regulatory frameworks, environmental standards, and international oil & gas procurement practices.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor budgets, reduce procurement costs, and maximize value across petroleum supply and waste management operations.
- Inventory Control: Oversee stock levels of petroleum products, marine equipment, and pollution control materials.
- Risk Management: Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies, especially in petroleum logistics and marine operations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with operations, finance, and environmental consultancy teams to meet project needs.
- Sustainability Focus: Integrate eco-friendly procurement practices in line with waste management and pollution control objectives.

Key Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
- 7 - 10 years’ experience in procurement with at least 5 years in the Oil & Gas, waste management or marine services.
- Professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), ISM preferred.
- Strong understanding of petroleum products, marine equipment, and environmental consultancy materials.
- Ability to analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.

Salary
N700,000 - N800,000 per month (Net Salary) (However, the salary can be negotiated upward depending on the candidate’s experience).
