Job Title: HALAL Complaint Butcher

Location: Abuja

Job Description

• Responsible for conducting Halal slaughter and carcass processing operations in strict accordance with Islamic principles, animal welfare standards, company procedures, and international food safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Halal slaughter in accordance with approved Islamic procedures.
• Ensure proper recitation and observance of Halal requirements.
• Perform dressing, skinning, evisceration, splitting, deboning, and carcass preparation.
• Maintain product integrity and prevent contamination.
• Optimize carcass yield and minimize waste.
• Comply with HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and occupational safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Secondary School Certificate.
• Formal Halal slaughter certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years'' experience in commercial slaughter operations.

Requirements:

• Must be a practicing Muslim of good standing.
• Knowledge of Halal slaughter requirements and meat hygiene.
• Ability to work in high-throughput processing environments.
