The group has executed major projects around the country in all sectors with a focus on structural steel and oil and gas. Over the years, IPI has also diversified into the Automotive assembly, Trailer manufacturing, Paint manufacturing, and Logistics.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Safety Officer

Location: Ogun

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian health and safety regulations and company safety standards.
• Carry out risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
• Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, and employee safety awareness training.
• Reduction in workplace accidents and incidents.
• Compliance with HSE regulations and internal policies.
• Timely completion of safety inspections and audits.
• Percentage of employees trained on safety procedures.
• Timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
• Availability and proper use of PPE across departments.
• Successful completion of emergency drills and statutory compliance activities.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 / month.
