Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- Responsible for the operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment in Amadi Base facilities, including AGO fuel tank farm, fuel purifier and diesel generators.
- Carry out facility inspections and basic repairs. Assist with passenger transfers. Supervise Fuel Attendants.
Job Details
- Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of base mechanical equipment and services.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for all base mechanical equipment.
- Complete required reporting related to inspections and maintenance activities (daily reports, final reports at the end of the works, handover reports).
- Keep stock of spare parts / materials stock up to date.
- Lead the operation and maintenance of bunkering, fuel purification and fuel tank activities.
- Support passengers transfer operations ensuring zero incident.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and OPITO Global 2 Training Certificate: Maintenance Practices (Mechanical)
- 5 years in mechanical maintenance role in marine or Oil & Gas Sector.
- Experienced in operating and basic servicing of diesel generators.
- Experience in bunkering and fuel purifier operation.
