Job Summary

• A company is seeking an experienced Extruder Operator to oversee the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of feed extrusion equipment.
• The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production, product quality, and adherence to safety and operational standards within the feed mill.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion machines to ensure smooth production processes.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve required feed quality specifications.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report faults or maintenance needs.
• Monitor production parameters, including temperature, pressure, and moisture levels.
• Ensure compliance with quality control, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Minimize downtime through proactive troubleshooting and equipment handling.
• Maintain accurate production and operational records.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to achieve production targets.

Requirements

• ND / HND in Engineering, Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience operating extruders in a feed mill or feed production plant.
• Strong understanding of feed manufacturing processes and extrusion technology.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
