We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Tax Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Officer to manage the company’s tax compliance, prepare statutory tax filings, and ensure timely remittance of all applicable taxes in accordance with Nigerian tax laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file VAT, WHT, CIT, PAYE, and other statutory tax returns.
  • Ensure timely remittance of taxes to relevant authorities.
  • Maintain accurate tax records and reconciliations.
  • Liaise with NRS, State Internal Revenue Services, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure compliance.
  • Support tax audits and respond to tax queries.
  • Assist in tax planning and advisory activities.
  • Prepare periodic tax reports for management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in tax or accounting.
  • Good knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations.
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ANAN, or CITN) or progress towards one is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
