Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused Quality Control Officer to monitor production processes and ensure that feed products consistently meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Feed Mill operations and possess strong knowledge of in-process quality inspection, sampling techniques, and quality control procedures. Candidates must have previous Feed Mill experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process quality inspections throughout the feed production process.
• Collect and test raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished feed products according to established quality standards.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications and operating procedures.
• Identify quality deviations and immediately report non-conforming products or production issues.
• Carry out routine quality checks on feed ingredients, mash, pellets, and finished products.
• Record inspection results accurately and prepare quality control reports.
• Ensure production complies with food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
• Support investigations into quality complaints and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE qualification.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in Quality Control/In-Process Testing within a Feed Mill is mandatory.
• Good understanding of feed manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of feed ingredients, quality standards, and production procedures.
• Ability to identify quality defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be willing to work shifts when required.
• Must be resident in Ibadan or willing to relocate.
