Job Title: Driver

Location: Futo Axis, Imo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of finished products, raw materials and company personnel where required.
• The successful candidate will ensure assigned vehicles are properly maintained, deliveries are completed efficiently, and company assets are handled with care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Dezzy Fountain Water products to customers and distributors promptly and safely.
• Load and offload products with the assistance of loaders where necessary.
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are roadworthy.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of assigned vehicles.
• Report vehicle faults, accidents or maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure accurate delivery documentation and obtain customers' proof of delivery.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Monitor fuel usage and maintain vehicle logbooks.
• Safeguard company vehicles and transported goods.
• Support other logistics and distribution activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or its equivalent.
• Valid Nigerian Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of three (3) years' driving experience, preferably in product distribution or commercial transportation.
• Good knowledge of Owerri, Imo State and neighbouring states' road networks.
• Ability to carry out basic vehicle checks and identify mechanical issues.
• Previous experience in an FMCG or manufacturing company is an added advantage.
