Job Title: Head of Credit - Operations
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time (Hybrid)
Duties
- Review loan requests
- Evaluate creditworthiness and risks, prior to underwriting
- Drive communications with internal teams and merchants at every point of the loan journey
- Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation
- Maintain updated records of loan applications
- Follow up with clients about loan renewals
- Monitor progress of existing loans
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years of experience in Credit Operations Management within the fintech, banking or financial service sector or similar role
- Strong understanding of lending processes, documentation requirements, and credit risk management.
- Familiarity with Nigerian lending regulations, data protection laws, and industry best practice's
- Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with team members, stakeholders and external partners
- Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional teams
- Perceptive and a fast learner: you’re able to quickly understand the technology that powers Traction Apps, and able to help customers achieve their goals, even if they’re unable to articulate those goals
- A positive, polite, confident, sincere, and friendly disposition
- The ability to solve problems and to think quickly on your feet
