Associates Consulting - Our client is a real estate development company located in Festac, Lagos, that connects investors with prime properties and profitable real estate opportunities within Nigeria.

They are currently expanding their team in Festac, Lagos, and they are looking to fill the role below: 

Job Title: Accountant 

Location: Festac, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: MD/CEO

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Verify financial transactions and ensure proper documentation
• Process payments, receipts, and journal postings promptly.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts
• Reconcile customer, vendor, and general ledger accounts.
• Ensure compliance with tax, pension, and other statutory obligations.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management

Requirements

• Minimum of a degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Must be resident in the Festac, Amuwo-Odofin axis.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• ICAN, ACCA membership, or progress is an advantage.
• Real estate/construction/property development experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and reporting standards
• Advanced Excel (added advantage)
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, OneDrive, or SharePoint
