Job Summary

  • We are seeking experienced and dedicated Machine Operators for immediate employment at its production facility in Sango-Ota, Ogun State.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring production machines, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintaining product quality, and adhering to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor polythene production machines in line with production schedules.
  • Set up machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine faults and report major mechanical issues promptly.
  • Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of assigned machines.
  • Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient machine utilization.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and company operational procedures.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and other production team members to achieve daily production targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an OND, or its equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a polythene or plastic production company.
  • Good understanding of machine operations and production processes.
  • Ability to identify and resolve minor machine faults.
  • Physically fit and able to work shifts when required.
  • Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to quality.
