Job Summary

• The Project Manager (Engineering Procurement and Construction) is responsible for leading engineering, procurement, and construction projects from planning to delivery, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, managing budgets, coordinating stakeholders, and driving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning:

• Develop detailed execution plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Define scope, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
• Lead kick-off meetings to align stakeholders.

Project Execution:

• Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and logistics.
• Monitor progress against baseline plans and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning.

Cost & Budget Management:

• Prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Track expenditures and manage cost variations.
• Drive cost-control initiatives to maintain profitability.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Act as the primary contact for clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Provide regular progress reports and dashboards.
• Resolve conflicts and maintain strong client relationships.

Risk & Compliance:

• Identify risks early and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE guidelines and permit-to-work systems.
• Oversee quality assurance, inspections, and compliance with regulations.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Lead coordination meetings and mentor staff.
• Promote a safety-first culture and stop unsafe work when necessary.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related fields).
• 10 - 15 years’ experience in EPC/EPIC Projects within the Oil & Gas Industry or related industries.
• Quality and HSE certifications are highly valued
• Experience in onshore/offshore fabrication, structural and piping construction, and integration processes
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in demanding environments
• Skilled in contract interpretation, managing variations, and protecting financial interests
• Strong ability to engage across cultural and organizational boundaries

Salary
N1,000,000 per month. (Net Salary) - However, the salary can be negotiated upward depending on the candidate’s experience).
