We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Source and procure construction materials, plant equipment, tools, machinery, and subcontractor services.
• Obtain competitive quotations from approved vendors and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery timelines, and reliability.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
• Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and approval processes.
• Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost optimization and strategic sourcing.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and the Store Team to understand procurement requirements.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Resolve supplier-related issues, including delayed deliveries, shortages, and quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, and documentation.
• Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and statutory regulations.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and periodic performance reviews.
