Job Title: Senior Scientific Officer (Speech Therapist)
Location: Osun
Functions
Successful candidates will be expected to perform the following duties:
- Ensure the keeping of confidential and adequate records of patients/clients.
- Perform speech assessment of patients/clients.
- Participate actively in planning and execution of rehabilitation modalities for speech impaired patients.
- Participate in the assessment and rehabilitation of patients with speech and swallowing disorders.
- Counselling of patients with speech and swallowing disorders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Candidate must possess a good Masters Degree in Speech Therapy/Special Education plus evidence of completion of or exemption from N.Y.S.C.
- Possession of a Ph.D in Speech Therapy will be an added advantage.
- Candidate with relevant experience in a hospital based audiological centre has an added advantage.
- All applicants must be duly registered with the relevant Regulatory and Professional Bodies.
Conditions of Service
- This is similar to those obtainable in the Federal Public Service and Federal Tertiary Health institution in Nigeria.
Salary
CONHESS 09 Step 01 - (N1,316,488.00) - per annum.
