An Independent Marketer in the Oil and Gas (Downstream) Industry is currently seeking to employ suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below due to ongoing restructuring:

Job Title: Special Assistant in the Chairman's Office

Location:
Nigeria

Specific Responsibilities
  • Working directly with the Chairman, the successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the Chairman's diary, follow-ups and schedulling of programmes and activites.
  • Should be ready to make trips at short notices. He/she will serve an the repository of information on general economic, business and financial conditions, analyzing their impact on the Group's strategies and objectives, for use by executive manegement.
  • He/she will undertake any other duty assigned from time to time by the Chairman
Qualifications, Experiences and Attributes
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Economics from a reputable institution
  • Master’s degree in international business or any of the Social Science
  • Minimum of 10 years experience from reputable organisation. Exposure to the banking, oil and gas, and maritime industry will be an advantage.
  • Good research, analytical and writing skills, and public/government relations
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suiteand other relevant computer application
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to with stand pressure.
  • Good office management, secretariat and administrative skills
  • Ideal age should be between 35-45 years
