The Federal Government of Nigeria sought and obtained financial assistance from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank Group to support the implementation of the Community and Social Development Project (CSDP). The Project is aimed at reducing poverty by increasing access by the poor to improved social and natural resource infrastructure services on a sustainable manner throughout Nigeria. It also seeks to strengthen the capacity of the communities and Local Governments to adopt Community Driven Development (CDD) approach to address community level development challenges through the implementation of micro projects.

The Federal Project Support Unit (FPSU) which is domiciled in the Office of the Vice President is charged with the responsibility of coordinating the implementation of the CSDP nationwide. The FPSU now invites interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position below:

Job Title: Driver

Location:
Abuja

Responsibilities
  • Drive personnel and moving goods/people between and within Abuja and outside.
  • Ensure the safety and maintenance of Vehicle
  • Be responsible to the Administrative Officer and
  • Any other duties as may be assigned bt the Nation Coordinator
Qualification and Experience
  • Candidates should possess at least Secondary School Certificate or OND in Automobile Engineering.
  • He/she must also have practical working knowledge of the Traffic Code and should be Driver/Mechanic with Driver's license group C, D or E and good driving experience of not less than six (6) years, accident free.
  • Possession of Driver/Mechanic Trade Test II is an added advantage
