The Olabisi Onabanjo University (formerly Ogun State University) was established on the 7th of July, 1982. The University, since its inception 30 years ago, had been true to its mission/vision statement: That Olabisi Onabanjo University shall be a centre of Academic Excellence where traditional wisdom shall be given a pride of place where culture will thrive in all its manifestations and knowledge will be pursued relentlessly to ensure the flowering of human abilities and service to the Nigerian Nation and the world at large.
The registered Full-Time undergraduate students' population for the 2011/2012 session stands at 7719 (Registered undergraduates), 5,000 (Part- time) and 3,204 (Postgraduates). This population is spread over five campuses in the four divisions of the state.

Procedure for Registration
Admitted candidates are to visit the University website at
www.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng for information on the registration procedure.
Registration for both freshmen and returning students has commenced on Monday, 7th January, 2013 and closes on Monday, 11th February, 2013.
