Job Title: Director of Works
Location: Benin
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the maintenance and care of the University Estate, rehabilitation of existing facilities including roads, water, electricity, vehicles, equipment and furniture in academic administration and residential areas, ensuring cost effectiveness.
- Responsible for co-ordination and control of the activities of the Works and Maintenance Department and providing professional and community services.
- Carrying out other duties as may be assigned by the Vice- Chancellor.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a good Degree in Engineering from a recognized University.
- Candidates must have Fifteen (15) years working experience in relevant fields or any Tertiary Institution and must be professionally registered.
Tenure
- The successful candidate shall be appointed for a single term of Four (4) years.
Remuneration and Conditions of Service
The remuneration and other conditions of service are as applicable for the post of a Director of Works in Nigerian Universities and as may be determined by the University Governing Council from time to time.
