Job Title: Interior Designer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Undertake design project from concept to completion
• Assesses and meets client requirements and desires through regular meetings and conferences
• Produces sketches, drawings, and floor plans to illustrate concepts and finished projects using computer-aided design programs (CAD)
• Supervise work progress
• Creates project budgets, including materials and labour
• Negotiates pricing for materials and labour
• Maintains relationships with vendors and outside contractors.
• Participates in regular networking opportunities and actively develops a client base
• Performs research and maintains a working knowledge of trends and new developments in the interior design and architecture worlds
• Adheres to national and local building and safety codes with every design element
• Reads and interprets blueprints
  

Job Requirements/Skills

• Highly Creative individual
• Minimum of 1 year work experience as an Interior designer
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite especially Excel, word and powerpoint
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3Dmax, SketchUp and other softwares
• Must be able pay to attention to Detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must be a good decision maker and great team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to sketch well by hand
