A reputable Oil field Services Company located in Delta State of Nigeria urgently requires the services of suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Engineer

Location: Delta
Slot: 9 Openings

Roles and Responsibilities

Inspection/monitoring and repair of all supply system Fuel system. Air system, Cooling system, Exhaust system. Jacking system, Hydraulics system and Steering system.
Inspection and Maintenance of Main engine Clutch/Gearbox, Dogclutch, Shafting, Air Compressors and power take off, Generators and crane power pack.
Knowledgeable in Electrical- Refrigeration and Air Condition, Maintenance of purifier and pumps, steering systems (bilge/ballast/fire/submersible/fresh water/fuel transfer/portable water).

Qualification and Experience

A valid CoC ticket as Chief Engineer issued by Flag State with a minimum working experience of 7 years under the capacity with a documented minimum 24 month practical experience as second Engineer (Evidenced in the Discharge booklet).
He will also have good documented all round competence relating to the platform, different system with particular emphasis on all technical systems.
He must have good communication skill (Written and Spoken English).
The right candidate is expected to have good supervisory skills as he will supervise the activities of Marine Engine Technicians engaged in the vessel.
Basic knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment is required. Engine Room Resource Mgt (ERM), Human Elements, Leadership Management (HELM) will be added advantage.
