Draiklinas Limited, a laundry firm located in Lagos seeks the service of a Laundry Supervisor who is smart, energetic and passionate.

Job Title: Laundry Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities:
Candidate will be required to:

• Conduct monthly inventory of laundry supplies.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
• Report faulty equipment, maintenance needs, and safety hazards to manager/supervisor.
• Train employees on all laundry procedures, including safety procedures and equipment operation.
• Verify that laundry requests are completed for each client as requested.
• Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Background knowledge of modern laundry equipment operation and production capabilities.
• Knowledge of laundry chemicals, their use and MSDS safety related requirements.
• Effective managerial, leadership and organizational skills.
• Effective written, verbal and non-verbal communications skills.
• Hands on manager familiar with all aspects of housekeeping including room cleaning, floor care, etc.
• Be able to lead a team of housekeepers including supervision, scheduling, etc.
• Excellent supervisory skills for the laundry
• Experience in total laundry operations
• Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

Qualification:
Experience is highly considered but candidate must have at least Secondary school leaving certificate with the ability to read and write effectively.

Experience:
Two years supervisory experience in a commercial and full service laundry operation, within the Hospitality industry or a commercial laundry dealing with hospitality client.

Age: 27 – 30 years.
