Job Title: IT Senior Business Analyst (Marketing)

Reports To: Head Of IT

Sub Function: Information Technology
Location: Lagos

Purpose Statement:
To work closely with the Air Nigeria Business Services Units to enable their strategic goals by leveraging information technology primarily in but not limited to ecommerce. To ensure strategic alignment of activities and proactively identify and drive opportunities for value creation through process enhancement, innovation and better decision support capabilities.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain key businesses engagement and analysis competencies within the Business IT team to guarantee our ability to meet business enhancement needs in the future.
•  Shape Information Technology Strategy for the Operational Service & Commercial functions, aligned with the Enterprise IT Strategy to ensure that opportunities for change are understood and exploited for the future benefit of the business.
• Ensure that our approach to strategy, planning and implementation of business technology projects aims to optimise business process effectiveness and is not driven by functional silos, while ensuring that consistency with the overall IT strategy is maintained.
• Direct and co-ordinate IT related business enhancement activities to ensure continued speed, direction, implementation and benefits achievement in line with business objectives.
• Agree, monitor and report to the Business on the ongoing service delivery against IT Service Level Agreements.
• Manages the Business IT portfolio of projects and change requests, ensuring the measurement of the value created against agreed plans and feedback on their success, issues and opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate would have a degree in a relevant discipline with at least five (5) years in IT experience, two of which are in a Management role. The following are essential:

• Sound knowledge of best practice and leading edge thinking for systems, organisation and processes throughout the value chain.
• Knowledge or recent experience of eBusiness content and technical developments and delivery required.
• Expertise in applying business and data analysis techniques, has a practical understanding of systems development methodology. Has insight into application development tools, operations and industry standards.
• Experience of integrated business processes and the functional interdependencies involved.
• Strong business consultancy ability and creative thinking together with high credibly when operating outside the IT function. Likely to have fulfilled a consultancy based role or roles at some point in their career.
• Able to demonstrate meaningful contribution and achievement at all levels of experience.
