Job Position: Service Engineers, Electrical

Ref: ELECT/04
Dept: Engineering
Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Key Responsibilities:

Providing electrical field service activities including commissioning and supervising the erection of Wärtsilä installations
Participating in electrical technical discussions and giving technical advice to customers and network companies
Performing suppliers product and hand-over inspections and providing internal and external reports and as-built documentation
Implementing Quality Control requirements for on-site repair and modification work in compliance with Engineering Standards

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Electrical Engineering degree with knowledge of gas/diesel engines electrical systems
Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of gas/diesel engines in Power and Gas operations
Knowledge of relevant Engineering Codes and Standards
Basic PLC and other Control Systems software knowledge
Working knowledge of IEC Electrical and control system standards
Understanding of Electrical protection, isolations and control system safety integration including installation and inspection procedures
Practical knowledge of relevant software such as AutoCad, PLC, HMI and SCADA software
Good sense of Safety and Security
