Job Title: COMPRESSOR AND ROTATING EQUIPMENT STARTUP SPECIALIST

Job Description:
Review Operations Instruction Manuals and ensure all requirements are met for each piece of rotating equipment
Assist in witnessing and sign off of Contractors A Checksheets (verifying correct installation procedures and quality control)
Review and comment on pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures for rotating equipment
Assist in reviewing Vendor scheduling and plans for all large pieces of rotating equipment

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates must have a minimum of Second Class Lower division for Bachelors degree and Upper credit for Diploma certificates.

Required Skills:
Excellent technical and analytical skills;
Good oral and written communication skills;
Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills;
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Software.

Experience
Minimum of five (5) years in Compressor and Rotating equipment within refinery or petrochemical plant or eight (8) years for candidates with technical diploma.
