Choicy Nigeria Limited, a manufacturing company located in Lagos requires the services of a qualified candidate to fill this position.

Job Title: Cashier

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities:

Greet customers as they arrive at the store and provide them with information
Respond to customers’ records and resolve their issues
Enter transactions in the cash register and provide customers with the total
Issue receipts and change to customers
Count money at the end and beginning of each shift
Process exchanges and refunds
Ensure that all checkout counters have enough cash
Process credit card and check payments
Issue stamps on contract
Perform the duties of sales representative when required
Maintain periodic reports and spreadsheets
Ensure management of daily cash accounts
Maintain periodic transaction reports
Ensure maintenance of check out areas
Resolve customer complaints in a proactive manner
Open and close deals
Train other staff members to work as cashiers
Maintain knowledge of store inventory and sales activities

Qualifications and Requirements:

A minimum of BSc / HND
Ability to work independently under general supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening skills and skill in presenting findings and recommendations.
Extensive skill in using a computer with word processing.
Skill in collecting and analyzing complex data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions.
Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers, staff and external contacts, and to work effectively in a professional team environment.
An ideal person who will be well organized and calm to help make both workers and visitors feel at ease and welcomed once they cross the threshold of the company's office.
Candidates must be residing in Lagos and qualified candidates would receive reply within three days of application.
