Ibrahim Shehu Shema ICT and Business Institute, Katsina, is a new, state-of-the art tertiary institution established under the Katsina State of Nigeria Law No. 8 of 2013. The Institute will run National Board for Technical Education (N.B.T.E) accredited courses leading to the award of National Innovative Diploma (NID) in ICT and Business Studies. The Institute will also offer a wide range of professional and career enhancement programs, seminars, and workshops at advanced certificates and diploma. Our programmes are dual-path, with emphasis on both congnitive and practical skills. Enriched by world-class faculty and teaching facility, our goal is to nurture the development of the much-needed manpower in the ICT and business sectors for national growth

Job Position: Chief Nursing Officer

Location: Katsina

Job Responsibilities

• The duties of the Chief Nursing Officer shall include to:
• Provide leadership in the nursing unit.
• Assist in the management of the Institute Health Services.
• Carry out general nursing care duties and midwifery procedures or duties in other specialized areas.
• Attend to emergencies.
• Supervise subordinate staff, initiate and sustain continuing education for other nurses and clinical attendants.
• Carry out other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements
Qualification and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognised institution of higher learing.
• Registration with Professional body (NMCN) with 10 years cognate experience.
• RN or RM registration and NMCN with 8 years cognate experience. or similar organization and of initiating and sustaining continuing education (seminars/conferences/workshops), evidence of leadership in nursing administration.

Condition of Service
The conditions of service are similar to what obtain in similar institutions of higher learning in Nigeria and are revised by the Government from time to time. Details will be discussed during the interview.
