WorkSpace Global - Our client, an indigenous Investment Banking institution, is urgently recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Head, Equity Sales Trader - Investment Banking

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

Developing the company's clients base by effectively working with current and bringing in new clients.
Selling company's products and services (brokerage and research) to the assigned clients.
Ensuring that all assigned clients are promptly informed about all available company's products and services.
Builds and maintains strategic working relationships with clients.
Analyzing needs of all assigned clients, ensures that needs are met.
Providing the clients with necessary information on market trends according to the company rules and procedures.
Controlling the appropriate use of the information by clients.
Providing accurate monthly sales forecasts by product, by client, in accordance with the internal planning system.
Responsible for analysis of sales information and by data value/volume/product in the assigned area.
Maintaining continuous feedback to line manager, in particular feedback on opportunities and issues arising during the work, and especially competitive presence and actions.

Qualification

A B.Sc. Degree (Economics, Business management, Mathematics & statistics preferred) with minimum of 2:1;
A masters degree will be an added advantage;
Professional qualification such as CFA, ICAN, ACCA, CIS and MBA would be an added advantage;
At least 4 years experience as a front office Equity Sales person in a Top investment bank.

Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously;
Confident and comfortable with clients;
Articulate and fluent in oral and written communication.
