Director of Fund Raising and Resource Mobilization at the Ondo State University of Medical Sciences

The Ondo State University of Medical Sciences was recently established to provide exceptional quality and comprehensive health care and integrated education and research in all medically-related sciences. Its vision is to attain world class status in health care and to be a West African hub for medical education, research and service delivery within the shortest possible period of time. To this end, the University requires the services of a professional, skilled and dynamic fund- raiser to mobilise the necessary funds and resources needed to achieve its mission and vision statements.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Director of Fund Raising and Resource Mobilization

Location: Ondo

Duties of the Office

• The Director of Fund Raising and Resource Mobilization (DFRRM) will be in charge of fund raising and mobilization of resources from multi-stakeholders for the purpose of growing the University.
• He/she shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of activities related to fund-raising and resource mobilization in the University.

Qualification for the Post

• Bachelors (Masters preferred) in the Sciences, Art or Public Health with demonstrated evidence that the candidate is conversant with the needs of Medical Education.
• Experiences in marketing, public relations and non-profit organizations would be an advantage.
• A minimum of at least 7 years of strategic fund-raising, and successful proposal development, especially within higher educational system will be crucial.
• Experience in using the web and/or social media for fund raising is necessary.
• The candidate must also possess a record of good health

Remuneration
The salary attached to this position is CONUSSS 15. Other benefits to the holder of the office are as stipulated in the University's Conditions of Office.
