Job description

• Deploy, maintain, monitor and support all Windows infrastructure-related activities
• Building and configuring systems (hardware, software, file systems),
• Work closely with other departments to identify, recommend, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions in a project oriented environment.
• Manage the design, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all Windows servers, hardware, software and peripherals.   
• Manage the design, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all VMWare systems.
• Benchmark, analyze and report on the Windows and VMWare infrastructure and systems.
• Keep current with the latest technologies; willing to accept future training and certification.
• Practice asset management for Windows hardware, software and equipment and ensure that IBM asset management policies are adhered to by the team.
• Act as member of a ticket queue system to address and resolve day to day support requests from the business.
• Manage and support MS Windows architecture and system level resources.
• Hardware and peripheral installation, maintenance.
• Automation and scripting
• On-call availability.
• Platform Capacity Utilization Administration.
• Change Management and Platform Optimization.
• Take the lead on Business Systems services projects.
• Liaise with third party support vendors for the support contract execution/implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 2 years experience in MS Windows platforms.
• At least 2 years experience in .ITIL
• At least 2 years experience in VMWare ESX / ESXi and Virtual Center.
• At least 2 years experience in Windows architecture and system level resources
• At least 2 years experience in IP networks and principals
• At least 2 years experience in Microsoft Office
• At least 2 years experience in Project Management
• English: Fluent

Preferred

• Master's Degree
• At least 3 years experience in MS Windows platforms.
• At least 3 years experience in .ITIL
• At least 3 years experience in VMWare ESX / ESXi and Virtual Center.
