Raydiamond International is an Information Technology consulting and outsourcing company. We provide professional technology services on how companies can best use information technology to achieve their business objectives.
We currently require the service of an analyst to manage information systems, as well as analyze and track data needed to facilitate company projects and oversee our company operations.

We are currently recruiting for the position of:

Job Title: Information Analyst

Location: Lagos

Job Description
  • The Information Analyst shall assume the role of the Executive Secretary of our company and he/she will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our company.
  • Work closely with the management to make sure that the integrity of the data available with the company is maintained as well as ensure adherence to company information policies and practices.
  • Provide data driven analysis of business processes, assist with the implementation and integration of knowledge and information management systems into business processes, and generate accurate and comprehensive reports on operational data.
  • Translate client requirements into highly specified project briefs as well as drawing up specific proposals.
  • Train and mentor new employees in our company in the use of company tools; communicate our standard operating procedures to ensure employee compliance.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with others in analysing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including procedures, system specifications, technical documentation, training materials and user manuals in compliance with legal and regulatory authorities and record management best practices.
  • Understand and use appropriate tools to analyse, identify and resolve business and/or technical problems. Apply metrics to monitor performance and measure key project criteria.
  • Estimate resources and record management requirements; create plans, timelines, milestones and reports for use in managing specific projects; ensure that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met; confirm and prioritize project plans and deliverables.
  • Facilitate and participate in cross-functional team meetings and trainings.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or Statistics.
  • 1-2 years of experience in relevant position
  • Basic programming skills in Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Strong attention to details in supporting management reporting with clear and concise data analysis and presentation.
  • Experience in prioritising and managing a complex and changing workload.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and adapt to any type of work environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with current systems analysis principles, methods, procedures, practices, tools and techniques and project management principles.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and direct a workgroup (local and remote).
  • Critical thinking, excellent logical, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as an in-depth understanding of business procedures.
  • Strong understanding of IT industry, cutting-edge technologies and market wide trends.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills, including high level report writing skills.
