Swift is recruiting on behalf on behalf of its client for a ICSS Commissioning Superintendent. The position will be based in Nigeria but missions may be required by company outside the normal working area to other locations worldwide. The contract would be placed for 12 months but the expected total duration of the service is 3 years. Description of the SERVICE:
The SERVICE consists of managing the commissioning activities of the ICSS and PLC's system, during engineering and construction.

Specific Activities:
- To develop the OPERCOM strategy to be applied to the control systems (approval of the ICSS Commissioning Procedure in line with OPERCOM / ICAPS).
- To ensure a proper OPERCOM application to ICSS and PLC's (database validation by the vendor and progress report at factory).
- To supervise and participate to the preparation of the ICSS/PLC's Pre-commissioning & Commissioning procedures & dossiers, reporting tools (Commissioning MDR, ICAPS database, planning, punch list,…), requisition of consumables, tools and spare parts (quality of Commissioning procedures & Start-up as per commissioning schedule, OPERCOM progress report).
- To assist all the vendors, when required, for the commissioning preparation and execution of the control systems and ensure that the ICSS and PLC's subsystems have reached in time the Ready For Commissioning status with a minimum of punch list items (Vendor database update and assistance tasks).
- To witness and monitor the pre-commissioning & commissioning execution tasks at factory, worksite and site in order to achieve the maximum productivity, minimize cost and allow a smooth handover.
- To validate the functional & operational test results (Meeting plan and participation to the vendor Inspection Test Plan).
- To ensure HSE behaviour within commissioning teams and check safety procedures set-up by the commissioning teams (Safety records).
- To ensure proper coordination with other entities / installations of the project (Main contractors, vendors,…) and Nigerians future operators assigned to attend the FT or on job training (Information & communication quality, reporting).
- To supervise ICSS commissioning planning in order to fit the project targets (Project planning integration).
- To co-ordinate ICSS / Telecom activities (Good integration of the telecom systems in the ICSS).
