Job Title: Manager (Operations)

Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to oversee the planning, directing, or coordinating of specific projects and onshore and off-shore services of the organization to ensure effective management and day to day running of company’s vessel, well and engineering projects to ensure that project scopes are completed on schedule, within budget and according to the quality standards required by the company

Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities will include as follows:

• Create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identify resource needs and assign individual responsibilities.
• Maintain vessels Class, flag and statutory certification, monitoring the survey schedules, planning surveys and ensuring vessel compliance with all regulations
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.
• Review deliverables prepared by the Operations team before passing for execution.
• Effectively apply professional experience and the company’s methodology to enforce standards.
• Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
• Minimize the company’s exposure and risk on project.
• Ensures project documentation are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Track and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.

Requirements
The ideal candidate must have proven and extensive years of experience in marine and offshore supply vessel market. He/She must possess all the necessary skills to handle all aspects of the operation of a shipping company. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in all aspects of a shipping company and be an effective team player.

Qualifications
The company requires the candidates to possess

• A first degree in engineering or marine equivalent
• Have 10 years experience in the marine/shipping sector with the last five years spent at a management level in their last place of employment performing similar functions
